Hydration products popular with UK consumers
The report suggests that the skincare industry is changing to meet consumer needs,
and reveals the most popular skincare products in the UK and European markets.
In the UK, consumers are interested in ethically produced and sustainable skincare products,
and the country’s unique climate has made hydrating products popular, accounting for 35% of all skincare sales.
UK consumers value ethical practices
In recent years, more people have been looking for skincare products for sensitive skin,
and products with soothing ingredients such as ceramides are popular.
These products account for 25% of all skincare sales and have a high conversion rate among consumers.
UK consumers also value ethical practices,
so indie brands with transparent production processes have a strong consumer base and will be an important area for all skincare brands in the future.
